Here are some key highlights

The News and Interests widget has been updated.

Fixed the bug that caused broken icons in system tray and taskbar.

Microsoft has corrected performance issues that were caused by the March/April update.

The PrintNightmare bug was fixed.

The printing issue has been resolved.

Windows 10's most recent monthly security updates fix an issue with the taskbar. The problem was discovered after Microsoft made the News and Interests feed available to everyone. It affects all users with Windows 10's May 2021 Update, October 2020 update, and May 2020 Update. Also, it affects the retired November 2019 Update (version 1909).

According to Microsoft documentation and reports, the news and interests buttons in the Windows taskbar may have blurry text. Other apps such as Edge, To-Do, Chrome and Edge may also have blurry icons.

While the release notes don't mention a fix for broken taskbar icon bugs, our tests revealed that Microsoft has actually fixed this bug. The taskbar bug, which also corrupted system tray icons including calendar flyout and notification center, was also a problem.

Users affected by the bug updates reported that taskbar icons could disappear completely due to the buggy update. This can impact the performance of certain apps and Windows 10 features such as sound and notification flyout.

Microsoft has not officially acknowledged taskbar issues as of July 12. However, if you do have these problems, today's cumulative upgrade should resolve them.

You can move the taskbar to the top of your screen if you have persistent taskbar problems. You can also adjust the scaling settings in Settings > System > Display. You should make sure you choose the recommended option for scaling settings.

You might also want to re-enable the News and Interests feed.

Performance issues

Microsoft has fixed a bug that was causing frame rate issues for PC gamers with today's security patch. Users reported frame rate problems and stuttering after the March security update.

Users were able to fix this issue by installing the most recent cumulative updates, while others simply rolled back to older versions.

Windows 10 Build 19043.1110 has finally been updated to fix a variety of gaming issues that have plagued recent Windows versions. Microsoft also addressed issues that could cause a Blue Screen of Death for some users.

According to Microsoft's official release notes, Microsoft has not identified any new issues. However, we will update this article if we find a critical bug.
